Get Yourself Organized

With most of us already back to our regular school schedules and back to our daily school activities sometimes it seems hard to keep everything in check. But with doing some research I found that simply setting up a Google Calendar can be the best solution.

Google Calendar is easy to use and allows you to share your calendars with others via email. Setting up this type of calendar definitely helps me keep all of my school events and everyday activities in balance. Making a separate calendar for FCCLA activities allows me to share our meeting and other event dates with my adviser and fellow chapter officers. This allows us to make sure we have adequate time to make plans for these activities and easily make changes if necessary.

If google calendars isn’t really your thing, asking your adviser to  set up a Remind account can be another great option. This service would allow members to sign up for a text reminder system which allows members to send a mass text to anyone that opts in. Using this my chapter adviser can easily send out texts to all members.
Even if neither of these options sound like your thing, doing some research can be the perfect way to help find a reminder system that’s great for you and your chapter.
