Nebraska FCCLA Recognition

ACE Award

 The Nebraska ACE (Adviser Committed to Excellence) Award is given to advisers who go above and beyond to support the needs of their chapter.  Deadline:  March 1, 2018.

ACE Award

Nebraska Distinguished Service

 The Distinguished Service Award recognizes outstanding contributions and continuing service by individuals whose primary responsibilities are directly related to the organization’s programs. Examples of those eligible for the Distinguished Service Award are local and state advisers, city and state supervisors of Family and Consumer Sciences, and teacher educators.  This award may be awarded to an individual who is not an active member but who has helped to advance the goals and purposes of FCCLA, such as teachers, teacher educators, state staff, school board members, college personnel, past FCCLA members not in high school at present, past or present state advisory board members or Board of Directors members, or other adults. Deadline:  February 1, 2018.

Master Adviser 

The Master Adviser Award recognizes advisers who have been successful in: advising an affiliated chapter for a minimum of three years, promoting the organization, operating an integrated chapter with a balanced program of work, facilitating youth-centered activities, and keeping abreast of new happenings within the organization. Deadline:  February 1, 2018.

Adviser Mentor

 The Adviser Mentor Award recognizes advisers who have been successful in: achieving Master Adviser Recognition, devoting two years to new adviser assistance, assuming adult leadership roles in FCCLA, conducting adviser workshops, attending training workshops, and using national and state FCCLA resources. Deadline:  February 1, 2018.

Integration of Core Academics Award

 The Integration of Core Academics Award recognizes a current FCCLA chapter adviser who integrates core academic subjects into Family and Consumer Sciences Education and/or FCCLA projects and activities. Deadline: April 1, 2018.
